Welcome to my blog page, I previously operated one while I was running for the local Council and it seemed a shame to waste the account so I have started to use it now to log items of interest from my travels across the web.
I am not sure how frequent the comments will be but lets see how things develop.

- My name is Robert Kelso I am 59 years old twenty plus of which have been spent in Cumbernauld. I live in the Newport area of town with my wife Beth. I have had a variety of jobs since leaving school including waiter, bank clerk, labourer and summer camp counsellor. Since graduating from Jordanhill College in 1978 I spent most of my career as a community worker working in the YMCA / YWCA and later in local government as a coordinator of local projects in Bellshill and Kirkintilloch. At present I am retired but active locally in Non profits. Over the years I have been involved with youth activities and spent many hours as a Boys' Brigade Officer. For leisure I play chess, listen to music and attend concerts and the theatre. I am also into computing and the web plus digital photography, I also love to read.
